As part of ASDA’s environmental strategy, the building will house their recycling operations helping to reduce their environmental impact and drive down distribution costs.
The location of the new centre will enable ASDA to reduce their total HGV journeys by thousands of miles per year and the building design will enable over 90 tonnes of co2 to be saved annually. The new centre is located adjacent to an existing warehouse and will see the creation of 60 new jobs in the local area.
